The Roswell UFO Festival is an annual celebration located in New Mexico near the anniversary of the 1947 Roswell Incident to increase tourism to the area. For the perfect weekend UFO festival, I designed the 2028 poster series. I was inspired by the visual effects of Risograph for this project. To mimic the look, I used a digital collage style of overlapping CMYK type, black engraving-esque elements, and vector illustrations in clipping masks. The two primary subjects of an eyeball and a UFO allow for a set of multiple compositions to play with the idea of watching space for life out there beyond the stars.
