As an effort to solve a pain point in the movie industry where movie attendance drops from January until March, I was tasked to create a brand crossover pop-up event to spark ticket sales at AMC Theatres Burbank Studio. Since everyone loves movie theater popcorn, I centered my concept around new flavor samples paired with classic 1980s films. Focusing the palette with pops of color that combine the visual identities of AMC with BoomChickaPop, I created cohesive visuals for merchandise, in-person event environments, and at-home or digital participation. After making upbeat, edited photos for a humorous and warm mood, a promotional commercial gives the grand tour of the crossover’s service.Â
