If you think greeting cards can be too formal and serious at times, then Joker Gestures was created for you. The series and product line were designed and written with sarcastic families in mind. To further develop my illustration style, I used traditional mediums of brushes with ink and watercolors to create the playing card characters and hand done typography. The color palettes are cool toned for the black suits and warm toned for the red suits. The copywriting of this project was a fun, humorous part of the progress.
